Fairfax Academy GCSEs 2025: Principal expresses pride at fantastic results

Students and staff at Fairfax Academy are celebrating a fantastic year of GCSE performance.

These results come after Fairfax, founding school of the Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust, received its highest ever A Level results last week, marking high standards of achievement across the school.

Results have improved yet again across core subjects, and the vast majority of subjects have seen increased grades since previous years.

In addition, the number of Grade 9s achieved by Fairfax Academy students has risen.

Principal Sean Castle, said: “Congratulations to all of our students.

“This year’s GCSE students have faced significant disruption throughout their five years of secondary education.  The fact that we have seen such excellent individual performances is testament to the students’ diligence and hard work.

“I would like to thank our staff for their commitment and dedication to ensuring that students are supported throughout their time at Fairfax, and thank our parents and carers for their continued support.

“We are extremely proud of the students and wish them every success in the next stages of their employment, education and training.

“We look forward to a large number of our students continuing their educational journey in our increasingly successful Sixth Form.”
